TOP 5!!!
My recent rotating reviews (updated when I watch a new movie)
This was a more than amazing sequel.
I really liked this movie. It had amazing design and story boarding, as well as intresting mixed-media effects. The anime scene was pretty intresting but it was annoying that she killed so many charactors with great design. Every part of it was unique and the costume/music worked really well (I loved her onitsuka tiger tracksuit). Its intresting to see a movie style usually reserved for classic asian films in a american setting. The parts in japan seemed pretty amazing and the langague switches were seamless. Bill was also a great design becuase he sucked but was realistically a crime boss/lover. If I was a cool assasin girl I would totally have a samurai sword. Speaking of all the sword parts the voilence was pretty intense, sometimes a little extra. I feel like this worked though, becuase usually in classic movies like this the blood is always a little theatrical spraying everywere. the fact they included realistic issues for women including her pregnacy and the pain of losing a baby felt realistic and showed a deeper understanding of her character. They didnt hold anything back, like when she was in a coma for 4 years as a good looking lady its prety realistic she got raped, even if nobody wanted to see that in a movie. The only thing that condused me a little is how they re-arganed the people she killed chapters and started with 2, than went back and revisted one for almost the whole movie. Overall an excellent movie, with themes of womnhood, fighting, love, revenge, amazing costume design, asian history and the crime underworld.
this movie was very interesting.... I cried, it was very sad. The emotional supprt spider accomplishes its goal of making you feel things very well. The story line was bizzare, bit simple enough to bore you into being rellient on this alein spider thing. It makes you very lonely. The Spacemans charcter is realistic, and by the end you hate him a little. He wasnt a good person on earth, and by the time he was in space millions of miles away he realized he never should have left. The wife qas kinda annoying at first and i dint like her, but when he totaly ingored her misscarrige i switched up real fast. The storyline jumped around a little too fast for me, like they glazed over his history and the spider was lamost like the vieer trying to dig deeper. If I was that saceman guy I totally would have asked him a millon of qestions about what his immortatal alaien spider race knows. I would talke the spider back to wath and we could hang out and eat junk food. the deisgn was bueatiful, I really liked the dissenfectant spray scene it was pretty cool. Anush (the spider) was petty cute and liked nutella (relatable). ANother scen i like wa shim walking through the mountain stream in a spacesyit, taht was pretty cool. One bit of citisim, they were trying to hard to make it all otherworldy and hyliscofical. I got pretty bored with the earth stuff and it felt overworked But i guess im too into fantasy and action to give a good review (I dont like space-fiction tbh) studd like this makes me love and hate space so easily.
